Calves are the future of the dairy or beef farm. Good rearing is an investment in the future. But calves are particularly susceptible to disease in the first month(s) of life.
RumiForm Digest is a liquid nutritional supplement for calves based on yeasts and sweet chestnut. The cell walls of the yeasts provide beta-glucans, which strengthen resistance, and mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) which have a prebiotic effect in the intestines.
MOS also helps in the development of intestinal villi which increases the absorption surface. This is beneficial for the further development of the calf. Sweet chestnut is rich in tannins (tannins). These tannins have an astringent effect which supports the repair ability of intestinal tissue.

During their first few months, calves are highly vulnerable to diseases, with diarrhea and respiratory issues being particularly common.
Diarrhea alone is responsible for 70% of calf deaths within the first eight weeks, and those that survive often face stunted growth. Enhancing calves’ immunity is essential to lowering their risk of infections and diseases.
In fact, calves are born with immature immune systems and need to build their immunity through the colostrum they receive from their mother and the environment in which they grow up until their own immune systems are developed. Strong calves are less susceptible to infection and disease.
